Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to present the budget today.  There are many expectations of the people in this budget.  In today's budget, the general public hopes to get tax breaks.  This is because the Corona period has had a major impact on people's income.  Then there are some interesting things about the country's budget so far.

 Chidambaram first became the Finance Minister on June 1, 1996 in the United Front government led by HD Deve Gowda.  He was the Finance Minister till April 21, 1997.  He was then the Finance Minister in the government of the then Prime Minister Indra Kumar Gujral from May 1, 1997 to March 19, 1998.
